Overview of Program:
Does sustainability really matter in business and profit driven industries? What can we learn from Dow Chemical, or BASF? What is your culture? How can you as a business leader turn sustainability into business opportunities?
CEO’s and decision makers influence behavior and values within their organization and ultimately make or break their company’s culture. Furthermore, social focus and never ending global competition require companies to rethink core competencies, not just for driving profits but to develop a brand with high integrity. The question is: how can real change be brought about, rather than just talked about.
The November 11th program aims to bring together leaders that are committed to more than just “business as usual.” The presentation and discussion will help other leaders better understand what environmental sustainable leadership is or is not. The talk will also address the advantages of sustainability from the financial and the economic perceptive.
Our speaker will outline the challenges that leaders face, and will review what companies are doing to be sustainable. He will also set the stage to find creative, out-of-the-box solutions to move businesses forward and make a positive impact on the triple bottom line – People, Profits, and the Planet.
